NOISE PROTECTION
Architectural acoustics
In many rooms, in particular in sports and indoor swimming pools as well as kindergartens, users frequently complain about the rooms' excessive reverberant noise. Therefore, a cost-effective solution for absorption areas should already be found during the planning phase while taking into consideration DIN 18041.
Another one of our focal points includes optimising architectural acoustics of workplaces and offices. The reduction in the sound level per distance doubling should be at least 4 dB in the frequency range of 500 – 4 kHz.
What sets us apart?
On the basis of our many years of experience and measurement equipment, we can help you satisfy the legal requirements and implement your special needs. The respective measures are optimised and assessed while taking economic factors into consideration.
Which services do we offer
- Architectural acoustic support for the improved clarity of music and speech intelligibility according to DIN 18041 using architectural acoustic software
- Noise measurement before and after the implementation of architectural acoustic measures
- Measurement of the reverberation time in real-time from the reverse-integrated impulse response.
- Measurement of the spatial sound distribution curves in rooms
- Determination of the level decay rate per distance doubling
- Determination of the level increase caused by reflections
- Planning of sound-absorbing ceilings and walls
- Planning of sound channelling/dispersing measures to increase the early reflections
What standards and legal regulations form the basis of our work?
DIN 18041 serves as the basis for our examinations.
